About Our Founder & Director of Family Programs
Since establishing the organization in 2017 as a legacy to her mother, Gloria has been instrumental in driving its mission to provide comprehensive support to those in need.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Gloria founded (30 years ago) and co-owns DASA Spa on the Riverwalk, a family owned business managed by Gloria’s husband, Albert. Since establishment of Ma Hila’s Heart, Gloria has been full time as the President & CEO of Ma Hila’s Heart, and now “Founder & Director of Program Development” so that she can spend more time in her passion, with the families that Ma Hila’s Heart serves. Gloria was selected by the San Antonio Area Foundation to become a Fellow of the HOLT Leadership Cohort. She also holds certifications in NonProfit Management, GrantWriting and Fundraising.
